Jason Randall is the President and Chief Executive Officer of AppFolio and serves on its board of directors. Jason is focused on building a successful company, cultivating a thriving team and ensuring the company delivers solutions that provide great impact to its customers and their business ecosystems.
Jason has been a member of the AppFolio leadership team since 2009, serving in various executive-level product and strategy positions, including Senior Vice President of AppFolio Property Manager. Under Jason’s leadership, AppFolio has been listed as a 2020 Glassdoor Best Places to Work and as Fortune’s #1 Fastest Growing Company.
Prior to AppFolio, Jason served in various product development leadership positions at other SaaS companies, including Citrix Online (merged with LogMeIn, Inc.).
Jason received a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and has been named to the Glassdoor Top CEOs list.
Matt Mazza is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for AppFolio and leads AppFolio’s legal, compliance, and governance affairs functions.
Matt joined AppFolio in 2016 as Vice President, Legal Counsel, responsible for all legal and corporate matters. In 2017, he assumed the role of Chief Compliance Officer, managing key regulatory and policy issues. He was named General Counsel in 2019.
Prior to AppFolio, Matt served as Senior Counsel for Deckers Brands, where he was responsible for a broad spectrum of legal affairs. He began his practice as a complex business and commercial litigator in 2003.
Matt received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Jon Walker is AppFolio’s co-founder and Chief Technology Officer. In 2006, Jon, along with Klaus Schauser, founded AppFolio with the mission to revolutionize the way businesses grow and compete by enabling their digital transformation. Jon drives AppFolio’s technology vision and architecture, leading key future-focused initiatives, including artificial intelligence across the business.
Prior to AppFolio, Jon held various executive positions leading engineering development and quality assurance teams, including CTO of Versora (now part of Kaseya), providers of open source Windows to Linux migration software, and of Miramar Systems (sold to Computer Associates).
Jon also served as Senior Technologist for Nortel Networks and Xing Technology Inc. (sold to Real Networks), and as a contributing editor to LinuxWorld Magazine. He holds and has contributed to multiple patents. Software developed under Jon’s direction has been deployed to over 20 million computers worldwide.
Jon received a B.S. in Economics and Business from Westmont College and has taught courses in computer science at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and Westmont College. He was recently selected as one of the Most Influential People on California’s Central Coast.
Aimee Miller is Chief Marketing Officer for AppFolio. Aimee leads AppFolio’s corporate and product line marketing strategy and execution.
Aimee joined AppFolio in 2009 as the Vice President of Marketing, growing the company’s brand from a small start-up to a publicly-traded SaaS company.
Prior to AppFolio, Aimee held senior positions in key account management, marketing, and product management at SaaS companies, including Senior Director of Field Marketing for Citrix Online (merged with LogMein, Inc.), where she led the planning and implementation of all corporate demand generation activities.
Aimee received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. She has been named a 2020 Fortune and Great Place to Work For All Leadership winner, recognizing leaders at companies that have a winning workplace culture.
Nat Kunes is Senior Vice President, Real Estate Investment Management for AppFolio. Nat leads strategy and operations for the Real Estate Investment Management product and service offerings.
Nat joined AppFolio in 2009 and has held key product leadership roles during his tenure, providing strategic direction for AppFolio’s products and company. Previously, Nat led product teams at Citrix Online (merged with LogMeIn, Inc.), and led large-scale field implementations at InfoGenesis (acquired by Agilysys).
Nat received a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MBA from Arizona State University. Nat serves on the Forbes Real Estate Council, contributing insights and trends in real estate property tech.
Shane Trigg is General Manager, Real Estate for AppFolio. Shane leads strategy and operations for AppFolio Property Manager product and service offerings.
Shane joined AppFolio in 2020, after holding various leadership positions for other publicly-traded SaaS companies, including Senior Vice President, Commerce Cloud, and Senior Vice President, Marketing Cloud for Salesforce. Shane also served as Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for MRI Software (formerly Intuit Real Estate Solutions, Inc.), leading $100M+ in global sales revenue for North America, EMEA and APAC.
Shane received a B.S. in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Amy Meyer is Chief People Officer for AppFolio. Amy leads the human resources and facilities management functions, partnering with leaders throughout the company to attract, develop, and retain diverse talent at all levels, and to create a positive employee experience.
Amy joined AppFolio in 2015, bringing 20 years of experience leading HR organizations to her role. Prior to AppFolio, she served as Vice President of Human Resources for Citrix where she was responsible for the company's human resources business partners, talent acquisition, talent management and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Amy was Director of Human Resources at Openwave Systems, serving in several divisional and corporate HR roles.
Amy earned a B.S. in Biopsychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and completed the Advanced Human Resources Executive Program at the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business. Amy has been named as a Top 50 Women in Business on California’s Central Coast.
